Norris Sales Returns to 2017 AED Washington Fly-In
Following our trend of advocating for construction and industry education, Norris Sales’ Karen Zajick traveled to D.C. to attend the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) 2017 Washington Fly-In.
The fly-in is an opportunity for association members to meet with senior lawmakers, administration officials, and Washington policy experts with an interest in public policy issues impacting the construction industry. Through active participation in the processes of government, AED serves independent distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers by encouraging the highest business standards and ethical behavior.
Karen Zajick was also personally invited on behalf of the White House Office of Public Liaison (OPL) to attend a meeting hosted by the Director of OPL George Sifakis and the Principal Deputy Director Stephen Munisteri. With other AED, Domestic Policy Council, and Policy & Interagency Coordination members, Karen introduced to the OPL and its function and public policy within the new Trump Administration.
