Keson was founded by Roy Nosek in 1968 (Keson is Nosek spelled backwards) in Berwyn, Ill. The company’s core products are measuring wheels, long length tape measures, standard length tape measures, chalk line reels and chalk for tradespeople and contractors in construction, landscaping and other industries.
Still family-owned, Keson manufactures mold plastic wheel hubs, rubber tires, and many other component parts at its factory in Aurora, Illinois. The company also makes its own chalk from calcium carbonate mined from local Illinois quarries.
