Top 5 Reasons to Buy a Takeuchi Excavator
Jobsite versatility, powerful hydraulics system, environmental sustainability, low-cost investment, interchangeable attachments
Being one of the first in their field, Takeuchi has decades of experience creating top-of-the-line hydraulic excavators. Takeuchi's new thoughtful design and superior manufacturing allow for greater operator comfort, performance, and serviceability.
But that's not all, every excavator showcases jobsite versatility, powerful hydraulics system, and interchangeable attachments unique to Takeuchi.
A Machine That's Worth Every Penny
When deciding on which brand of excavator to use for your next project, consider Takeuchi!
Takeuchi created an entire line of excavators that can handle everything from utility work to landscaping, making Takeuchi excavators essential for practically every construction project. Still not convinced? Below are just five reasons why Takeuchi is the right choice for you.
1. Jobsite Versatility
While commonly used for creating trenches and site grading, Takeuchi excavators can also be used for hauling materials, removing brush, demolition, mining, and snow removal. Since Takeuchi hydraulic excavator chassis are built on top of the undercarriage, Takeuchi excavators rotate 360 degrees during operation.
Takeuchi’s excellent arm and bucket power provide the perfect combination of power, speed, and versatility at your fingertips. The dual pin position bucket allows even more flexibility to adapt to the job conditions.
2. Powerful Hydraulics System
Each Takeuchi excavator in the Norris Sales fleet comes with a pressurized hydraulic fluid system. Takeuchi's line of excavators deliver exceptional versatility and performance. Unlike a power shovel which relies on cables, winches and steel ropes for digging, a Takeuchi excavator uses a powerful and smooth hydraulics system for movement.
Hydraulic excavators have many advantages including light weight, efficient power transfer and ease of maintenance and repair.
3. Environmentally Sustainable
Every Tackuchi excavator carries an EPA Final Tier 4 Emission Compliant engine. All EPA Final Tier 4 Emission Compliant engines are fitted with low-maintenance or no-maintenance exhaust after-treatment systems (EAT), enabling them to meet EPA Tier 4 Final requirements while providing superior horsepower and greater torque for improved performance.
The new EPA requirements for Tier 4 diesel engines need:
- to cut Particulate matter (PM) emissions by 90%, an emission composed primarily of carbon soot and other combustion by-products
- to cut Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) by 45%, an emission composed of nitrogen and oxygen
These powerful turbo-charged engines are more environmentally unsustainable than all other machines constructed before 2004.
4. Interchangeable Attachments
One feature that makes Takeuchi excavators so popular is its ability to use a wide range of different attachments to handle all kinds of jobs. Bucket attachments of different sizes and styles let any operator use an excavator as a multifunctional digger. Other attachments include augers for drilling holes in the ground, thumbs for hooking and lifting heavy loads, and hydraulic hammers for demolishing rocks and concrete.
From buckets to thumbs, Takeuchi excavators are a versatile powerhouse and a great addition to any fleet.
5. Low-cost Investment
With interchangeable attachments and jobsite versatility, Takeuchi line of excavators are the construction industry's 'jack-of-all-trades'. Invest in one machine instead of three or four! And with easier serviceability and parts replacement, Takeuchi excavators are built to last.
